The School Room!

Comfy spot for reading or watching Netflix offerings

So it seems that savvy and hip homeschoolers spend August sprucing up their school rooms.  Grace and I shopped for some desk chairs, and storage for notebooks and Instructor Guides, and reorganized our book shelves to make space for our Sonlight books and also extra trips to the Library.  So here is how our School Room looks!  I can say that after a few days of school it seems to be holding up!

I'm ready for homeschool!

Math on the dock…

Okay - not too bad if I can do my math on the dock!

Upon being asked how the homeschooling was going: 

Student:   “Well, it is a bit mommyish…” 

Teacher:  (replying wryly)  “I expect so, since only your mommy would let you do your math on the dock!”

Student:  (with sheepish grin)  “That’s exactly what I meant!”
